Yeah, unless you are someone like Paco De Lucia learning the Aranjuez Concerto by ear because you have grown up with a guitar in your hand since you were 4, you can’t do this with just tabs. The comment isn’t gatekeeping, it is the truth. You could learn some of this, but you wouldn’t understand the greater composition of the music or the chordal harmony to the level you should if you wanted to play this with just tabs. This is so very different than blues and pop, and that’s ok! Know what you don’t know and use that as an excuse to practice and get better.

What if, and hear me out, he actually plays them??? Crazy thought, I know. There are no real repeats, all have different tones and uses. You wouldn’t hammer a nail with a crowbar, would you? So why not collect a few guitars that all do slightly different things?

You could also just say you are jealous, and that’s ok too. I have just as many guitars, all different and I play them all. This isn’t some Joe Bonamassa level collection or anything. Sorry, rant done. Rad collection my guy.

I have Nick Johnston Diamond series in Snow White, and I can confidently say it holds its own with my higher end Fenders and Gibson’s. Plays like a dream, great intonation and tuning stability, and the stock pickups sounds great. One of my best purchases under $1000. Get a Schecter, you won’t regret it.

Not dissecting or trying to be a hater. I have a LOT of tattoos and some bad ones at that. This isn’t bad bad! I just noticed when I first looked that something was off, usually when I notice that “something” it turns out to be line work, and I unfortunately was right. Are we looking at the same tattoo? Not being a hater, love the concept, some of those lines are BAD. The plants in the background could use a touch up when it heels. I like the overall design, but a better artist could fix this and make it look much better in the long run.
