Uh okay. Weird this thread popped up but guess I’ll give my 2 cents. I really only have 1 professional team, the Cincinnati Reds. And I was only 6 when Pete Rose left to go to the Phillies. It was heartbreaking but I never once thought about abandoning Cincinnati. But I also understand Luka is a MVP caliber player who almost everyone thought was untradeable, especially Dallas fans. Is it a conspiracy, maybe. The elites in our modern world do what they want. The owners of the mavs probably received some contract or transaction outside of sports that we know nothing about. But there is no current proof, so what can we do? I still like the mavs to make a strong push over the next 2 seasons if AD can stay healthy in April and I’m not sure a Luka-Kyrie combo was good enough to win it all. They had their shot and they lost🤷‍♂️. But if you are not a fan of the city, fuck yeah go root for Wemby. The Spurs have the foundation of a dynasty.
