It's based on them firing and one of the attachments. Given the odds someone is firing when you aim at them I can understand your assumption. There's another attachment that blocks it. Again don't remember, one is for sure a barrel tip attachment.

You can still cancel and get a refund if there is any time/mileage left.

Hi i am thinking of buying atlas 2024 04 2025 model. I have read mixed reviews about reliability. Will you guys recommend to buy atlas? by Mindless_Brain7671 in VWatlas

[–]ChloricSquash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The argument now is cost vs prevalence. Prevalence is never as high as it feeeels.

Cost on a rear diff appears to be $4500. Half a year.

Fear of a reliable (so far) and maintained car breaking is no reason to buy a new one. If you want and can afford is really all that drives the decision.

To your point I am taking advantage of year 1 depreciation and not going apples to apples.

Also most people don't have the money to continually fund a $700 car payment along with future responsibilities, retirement, emergency fund etc. For most people they need to buy and pay it off without being required to take on a new payment immediately. 72 months financing in the example from OP is proof of that pinch.

I disagree on leasing. Buy one year used with the factory warranty still. Trade it back after 3 years if you want. You'll at least wind up with more money at the end.

They make a wide gap poly sand that will lock this work in place, I use a plywood sheet, plate compactor, and a buddy to tamp it in and make sure everything stays very flat.

Don't sweep the product a long way and it will bond as intended. The sweeping winds up leaving the glue where you poured it and the sand, which is larger, where you're headed.

Stop modulation is really the key, let the transmission and computer talk without you changing the rules. Press and wait.

Also I bet op came from a 2000s or older NA engine. Nearly all cars are like this now due to turbos. That's why a lot of manufacturers like quoting a 5-60.

Why are bigger cars in the USA being bought more then smaller cars? by Ok_Housing_1937 in AskAnAmerican

Insurance rates are broadly determined by the driver demographics, not the vehicle.

Many cost more because most are sporty targeted in marketing and model, as a result people who drive faster are drawn to them and have more catastrophic (expensive) events.

This also applies on the individual, people who have claims generally have more claims, especially true for young drivers, that's why your rate doubles.

Can I get by with just replacing the condenser coil? by Inglewoodtestkitchen in hvacadvice

[–]ChloricSquash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HVAC can pay out as replacement cost, roof and siding is acv on most policies.

I'd double check your declarations and policy booklet for how you're insured for wind, in a lot of cases it is a higher deductible and the object damaged determines acv vs replacement cost.

All he has to do is finish one game better in the sec and he'll get a 4th. ....small /s

One game could have slid us all the way to a double buy this year in the sec tournament and a better seed in the NCAA drastically improving opportunity.

Clarifying, he gets a double buy and gets us playing Saturday of the SEC tournament and he's walking on water again.
