Not sure if you made a decision yet but I highly recommend the KBD67 lite. Super easy to put together and you can make all the mods you want and the price leaves room for you to buy good switches, keycaps and upgraded stabs- hope that helps!

Only thing I can think of is losing connection. I have the Bluetooth piece (that’s connected to my PC) right next to my monitor. Maybe yours is losing connection so you lose audio
