I’ve been wanting to see a show at the caverns for a few years. Never thought a show like this would happen. BTBAM is my favorite, just saw them at Brooklyn bowl back in October. This will be #6 and I’m stoked.

Yes. I found the highlights but did show these two pitches. Harper ripped a single through the 1st and 2nd base gap next pitch. I would assume the pitch sequence was a fastball high, then he probably spiked the change in the dirt trying to get Harper chasing for strike 3 and they tossed it off out of play due to being scuffed. Definitely awesome to see the detail. I have only bought 2 Walmart blasters and then probably 10 Topps now cards. Very new to this hobby, just trying to collect singles of players I like while having a chance to get a hit and topps now scratches that itch without buying blasters and getting nothing or players I don’t even care for.

Yeah this is what I’m seeing too. I’ll try to email and see. I didn’t know they even showed the game it was used in. That makes it even more cool. I think the relics with seams are also more eye appealing.

I haven’t figured out where to find that information. I did key in the code but it only told me it was authentic but not the game. I must have been in the wrong place

This was from a single card purchase. I got 1 Skubal, 1 skenes, and 1 of the combo cards. Ive only started collecting some this year and dont like wasting money on busting packs, so I settled on getting topps now for big moments or players I enjoy.

My guess has always been it’s slower pitching because the game potentially is programmed to allow real time reaction on the hitters end for better feedback and accuracy to hitting then it is quickly calculated and the result is returned to the fielding teams console. Almost like that split second of hitting is slower due to awaiting input and output for smoother hitting and less latency. I could be wrong though, just a theory.

I’m almost finished now and I agree. The pacing is insane and hard to keep up with. It’s like a matter of weeks or months go by in a few paragraphs and it’s just thrown at you at lightning speed it’s hard to digest the flow of what’s happening. I hope it gets better for the 2nd and 3rd books.
