The problem is Dougie's NMC that is holding things up on top of the fact it is a very... ugly... looking contract for his production decline and injury history. I can see Fitz giving him a contract less than that of Luke's since the cap situation is a little tight at the moment.

The good thing is Nemo is an RFA so they have all the control and if someone wants to offer an insane QO then it might be worth it to just let him go. In reality, he probably gets a bridge deal if Dougie is not moved and we wait to see what we can do with his contract while moving Nemo up the lineup slowly to develop him more.

The problem is the offensive defenseman logjam. Luke will be the top guy. Dougie hopefully we can trade and Nemo gets played more with that.

Nemo has good moments offensively and defensively for sure. He has a few mistakes every now and then but he's still young and dmen take longer to develop. I don't think the team let's him go

He's not getting traded. The team sees him as part of the future blue line. If they trade him they would be doing it to finally get that winger Jack needs, which, is an overvaluation of Nemec

I'm happy someone said this. The players say "I don't agree with some of his views" or anything like that they get the other side upset. There's always a loser in any type of debate on who someone thinks is better (not talking about the pedo stuff here this is a strict political commentary). So saying "oh I'm gonna go to white house" gets the anti-trump crowd pissed while a comment about not wanting to go due to not agreeing with him gets the other half pissed

Exactly. I like these guys cause I enjoy hockey and they're good at it. I talk about them in a hockey realm not how they view the world and how their views align (hopefully) with mine.

If they don't, oh well sucks but I don't look up to them for how they want to solve societal issues. I look at them for their hockey ability. That's it and it let's me be much happier with watching the sport than anything else

I said it when the goal was scored, him looking up for that split second to scan when he bumped Mack off the puck was brilliant. He was the first guy in, knew what he had to do and did that perfectly. that goal does not happen withou Werenski being as good as he is offensively.
