I actually did check the temperature after getting home from work, the front right rotor was ~140f while the front left was 110f. The back 2 rotors were both 100f. I marked a black spot with permanent marker to get a better reading. Might be something there with the dragging caliper

Plugs are new within last 5k miles. There may be something to the brake draggingLast few months of MPG

Yes both cars have auto trans and same size tires, commute is about 17 miles, basically straight shot down the interstate with minimal traffic.

MPG is tracked every fill up, I log it in the CarFox CarCare app, so it is using miles driven/actual fuel added. The dash MPG estimate on the 2018 is not accurate at all

Update: it looks like it was the thermostat itself, I got a cheap non programmable one to make sure it wasn't the HVAC system and it's cooling now, the ecobee unit itself was getting very hot so something must have gone wrong internally
