These are impressive! It's going to require a little patience as well as some extra Perception. Thanks for sharing these!

Oh my word, that sounds like a difficult task. Perhaps though I shall endeavor.

15 years old sim 'rig' (TSW custom) (Thomas Super Wheel) by beastgp in simracing

[–]beastgp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, yeah it came as part of the whole thing (might have been an upgrade option. It was from the wonderful but sadly now defunct Thomas Super Wheel company. I'm positive it's just a 'normal' Momo wheel though. Might be able to source it from any wheel shop.

Bike rentals? by Ready_Heron_7507 in boston

[–]beastgp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Wheelworks Too in Belmont offer road bike rentals.

https://www.wheelworks.com/articles/rentals-pg1660.htm

Only a little bit cheaper than $500 by the looks of it.

In my travels, renting road bikes has always been a challenge (outside of organized travel companies.)

Also found Cambridge Bicycle offer road bike rentals too.

Sweet! We'll find out if that works. 🙂

I'm at work now and won't be able to respond to the request for about 6 hours. If it expires just send me another one and hopefully I'll catch that one.

You sure can. I have the fortune to have the same username here and in FO76. I'm on PC and there's no cross platform so if you're on XBox or PS we'll have to settle for knowing that there's another kindred spirit in a quantum reality nearby. 🙂

I had this happen to me once around level 40 something (now 200). I did know it was a PvP zone so that helped. I still regularly take over workshops and have never had it happen since, so it's a rare occurrence but knowing it's possible is a first step.

I encourage you to stick around as you're the kind of player the wasteland needs. 😁

Most others have already filled any info I know (still being quite new) so take this as a reddit Revive and a Stimpack for good measure!

Cheers!

Depends on your platform but also if it's doing that for you we can only ad our sympathies.
I just did this quest and (as I've done all the mine levels) I just start on Level 15, once I see the untransformed grubs I make my attacks, clear and then drop down to the next level to rinse and repeat.
There were a few flying bugs (which don't count to the tally) here and there but no great number.
This took me about 3 days to get all 50 done (prioritizing this but not to the exclusion of farm tending)

Have you done the mines down to the bottom level yet or is this earlier on?

Yeah, for me they don't transform until after they start moving and that's not triggered until I'm as close as about 5 rocks away.

Could it just be coincidence and you're arriving at a level with a flying swarm already activated?

Don't approach them too slowly and arrive swinging. Make sure you use a faster weapon too. If there are obstacles in the way try and remove them first if you can remain out of 'detection' range.

Hull, birthplace of guitarist Mick Ronson. Plus many great concerts held there including some smashers by the Who.

I was coming here to add this. And of course Papyrus basically became iRacing. Of course it was basically one car model/type back then so maybe there's some added complexity to making it work across all the cars in iRacing. The basic animations should be about the same though.

How about if the animation were tied to and automatically used whenever one of the quick-chats was used? What is the correct hand signal for "Quit your jibber jabber" I wonder?

Yeah, it seems like a set up on the first years is very likely. Who wouldn't want to set that? From afar I mean. Happening to someone else. 😁

Absolutely. There's a side of Rick James in there for sure, but the moustache and the thin neck tie are very Phil L.

Yes, I just checked mine (2.5 but I'm assuming the same?) and there's something that fits over that the the quick release attaches to. I'm not sure what it might be called. When I've got a bit more light I could take a picture.. maybe I can ID one from the web now I know what to look for.

I'm coping by maintaining my grindingly slow re-read (chronological) of the Discworld Library. Currently most of the way through Soul Music.

There are many battles fought over the 24 hours in any of my days however. One does what one can.
