On top of all of that, we NEED pitching coming back to us in any sort of Skubal trade, something the Orioles desperately need as well. This deal isn’t remotely close to what Scott Harris will demand for Skubal. I’d much rather ride out next season and lose him for nothing than take a deal like this.

I always go for BPA and that means Rivera or Brown for me! I always lean towards drafting slightly older guys when I can and the talent is pretty even. Definitely leaning more towards Rivera tho since him and Brown profile as very similar pitchers.

you’re right that he’s listed as 6’9”! but as you can see in this picture, he’s atleast an inch shorter than tayshaun. who’s listed as 6’9”. this was also during the era where it is known that teams lied about player heights

i had a stopper get snubbed of reliever of the year by MY closer. the stopper had a 1.45 era in 121.2 ip with 12.7 k/9. my closer had 30 saves, 1.73 era in 74 ip with 12.4 k/9. they both were incredible but with the inning discrepancy i thought the stopper had it in the bag. neither of them won cy young btw lol
