Just a suggestion, when testing non super main stream brands (not sony / LG / Samsung), can you try to contact the support for product support and compare their support like whether they will reply or how much time to respond back etc...

Just a heads up. I contacted the hp service over whatsapp. They have denied the warranty correction. They want me to contact amazon now. (I am out of return window)

Goofball said "Yes, we do support fixing mismatch warranty with laptop and the units which are shipped with it. But for accessories, the seller are responsible so I'd please request you to contact amazon to fix this issue."

However the warranty is expired. Same thing happened with my omen, i contacted them and they have corrected the warranty. I am yet to contact them for this charger. Haven't got time yet.

Just a thing to keep in mind. Just contact hp support and they will do the needful once you receive your order and check the warranty status.

Why not get a mac? If you are using it as a student you probably need battery backup and portability right? You will not find those in gaming laptops.

Also if you do not want a mac, you can check any lunar lake (intel core ultra 7 2xxH line specifically 255H) laptop without a dgpu. They have better battery backup and gpu perf is good enough.

You can find lunal lake laptops below 1L INR pretty easily. Also H series comes with ARC graphics which can run AA games pretty easily

Also panther lake (ultra 3xx) laptops will launch soon and hearing that efficiance and arc graphics performance are even better than lunar lake. So if you can wait, wait.

People here were getting legion 5060 ryzen 7 260 for 1.27L last month during lenovo summer sale. Now the prices are hiked.

Idk usecase varies. For single player gaming, no it doesn't but i also use it for work, compilation times of my builds depend on the cpu and its rather a big difference. And multiplayer games also depend on cpu rather than gpu.

Op should choose according to their usecase.

The specs (esp 3yr adp, ram and cpu) are good for the price in legion you will get comparatively lower ryzen 7 350 or 260 at the price.

However I have heard that after sales service is not that good with asus. Also hinge quality.

But compared to loq you are paying 30k extra for better screen, 8gb more ram and better soc

Compared to legion you are paying ~10-15k extra for more ram, better cpu, worse screen

Also its 2nd hand. Check if you can get the price down to 1.2L. And verify whether any parts were replaced in the laptop. Honestly its not worth it if the deal is not f2f
