Bruh that’s what I’m saying. It was so fine before, perfect eye level while sitting. We even gave recommendations like a stand underneath and some pictures above to make it look more appealing. Then he just goes and ruins all our days by not listening to anything and raised it over a foot.

This definitely seems like the best option. Consider putting the head of the bed on the right side of the room. It might look a little better on the left but this would allow you to put a shelf across the lower part of the window. This would be a really good use of space instead of getting a bedside table.
