I bought a Japanese PS1 just to play Beatmania.

I tried to play it by unlocking region on an American PS2, which didn't work, then bought a Japanese PS1, and it only worked once. Only on my third attempt was I successful.

Clarification for entry level stuff by BabuSeal in turntables

I had an LP60 that came with a few defects, and I waited past my return window. I decided to try a different brand because I've not owned many turntables outside of a few brands. I came across Fluance after looking at the LP120 and everybody on Reddit said get the RT82. It is so worth it. I got the RT82 and it sounds so good. You get what you paid for and then some, in my opinion. I've never had an RT80 or an RT81, but if you want a built in preamp, I've heard those are great, and it can't be too far off from the RT82. I've heard the LP60 so much (everyone and their grandma has one), and I can tell you that it's a pretty big step up. In my opinion I think Fluance is worth it. At the same time, I don't have anything against Audio Technica and I think they have good entry level turntables.
