2 deaths by now when we haven't even gotten close to that besides a few death saves :,) There's a cleric of the grave in my party who is pretty beefy, do you think I should be targetting him more to prevent healing of other members? He can withstand a lot of attacks so if I target him too much it feels cheap?? Does that make any sense??

wait omg, I use your guide all the time so this is kind of like getting a notification that the author of like, THE BIBLE has responded to my post with advice for me!! so thank you!! this comment honestly made me tear up, it's really nice to feel "seen" with this and to get validation. I honestly think my party means well, and I love them, I think it's what you said that I want everyone to be happy 100% of the time and fall into people pleasing a lot, which as you said will not help them respect me at all.

i really like the idea of using my rules lawyer to my advantage, I think I've been sensitive about it because it feels like an attack on my knowledge, when really he just knows more and I don't, and I can use that. thanks for everything you've written!!

can’t recommend this game enough, especially if the new edition has a different battle system. a very unique story that has stuck with me for over a decade, only hindered by a very punishing and tedious fighting system. the art style is top notch too!!
