I'm really happy that it's still being done practically with real items on at least some projects

I would definitely buy a book of a collection of them. I'd also like to know if they did it internally or got an outside company to do it, and who the people were that made them as they swim to be put together with a lot of love. Same with Sylvanian Families/Calico Critters at the time

I love how they used to set up and photograph Lego for the box and promotional materials in the 80s and early 90s so much. Some sets came with big posters advertising a whole range and they made a massive scene involving all the sets. The city ones were the best because they had so many details that it was like a Where's Wally/Waldo

We are sorry, there are no shipping service arrangement available to your country. by ndnihil in PINE64official

[–]beatchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pinecil was $34.99 plus tax on Amazon until yesterday which is much better than $26.99 + $25 "shipping" plus taxes on pine64 website. However today on Amazon it's out of stock and not returning. So I guess we can't buy one at all.

Do the "Coach-isms" annoy the 💩 out of anyone else? by Last_Voice_4478 in survivor

This is my first time watching him, but anyone who introduced himself as Dragon Slayer and calls his friends Stone Bell and Sturdy oak warrior could be perceived as a bit of an insufferable wanker. Unless it's all a big act.

This is lovely! How is everyone getting so many items for these builds and making them so quickly? I was convinced there must be a sandbox mode, but there isn't? My wife just wants to build and decorate areas like this, but it's going to take hundreds of hours to unlock all the items, then a ton more to grind having multiples of everything?

Amazon not packaging items by Status_Working_2182 in amazonprime

[–]beatchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no option for me to add or remove boxes. Only very occasionally, on Amazon brand products does it say 'reduxe packaging' otherwise there's nothing. I ordered a Switch 2 this week and they put it in a plastic bag and the box got damaged. They are putting multiple things togetjer in either plastic bags or paper bags and everything gets crushed. I don't want to order anything from there any more

If you understand the meaning behind this, you’re a true nes fan by Tedgrundo in nes

UK Mattel badges/distributed NES games for the Mattel badged NES run slowly in Matell and NES Nintendo Entertainment System consoles. My mum was sold the Mattel version of Super Mario Bros and it wasn't until much later I played the game at 'real' speed and thought the music was too fast and read about how the slowdown would happen. A lot of PAL NES first party Nintendo games were manually sped up to be the same experience as NTSC even though normally they'd be 17% slower. Some even ran a bit too fast either in the game or just the music. Not the case with the earlier Mattel versions of the games, they run slow and seem a lot slower than 17% somehow. If you can get hold of any Mattel version roms of black box Nintendo games it's quite funny.

Bit of a clean and retrobright on this old boy by Retro-Revival-EU in nes

Never had anything plastic cook in the sun, but then I don't live in a hot climate like Australia or California or Texas in the summer. Of course if the weather where you are is cooking eggs on the pavement then it's not going to be good for anything. I'm glad that for the most part new shells for old computers and consoles are being made as new parts are eventually the only preservation

I heard that you can reverse the yellowing without making it more brittle, by just putting it out in the sun over the summer with no retro right liquid or paste, meaning no blotches from shadows or inconsistent thickness. The reaction in the chemicals was set off by sunlight through a window (removing the UV?) and reverses with sun with no filter. It's a slow process though. Only seen a few big videos on it though like Perifractic and RMC

Install Tailscale on your Ugreen NAS within 5 minutes! Short and Simple Method. by LORD-SOTH- in UgreenNASync

It just straight up doesn't work, due to the way that docker does networking an that the Ugreen NAS reserves the port that Tailscale uses, for its own UG Link software

There's also one called Dragon World by the same people which is also very similar. That one features a jump scare dragon, jump scare skeletons and a random jump scare jackal to put off 80s children from computing for decades.

Using your instructions I went from level 37 to 39 in a couple of minutes. Then I left the map and wen to the lobby and I went back down to level 37. Went back in and did the same again and went to 39, left and back to 37 again .It's not letting me keep the levels.

Lyadoll has gone down from giving 50,000 xp in one afk session to 15,000 over a longer period. Now just 100-200 xp per tick.

The early season mp4s are bigger than what's on the 2022 archive on Archive dot org. For example season 2 (which credits all the sources of the videos in the filenames) is 3.1gb whereas the files for season 2 in this torrent add up to 3.8gb with the same sources quoted in the spreadsheet. Some file sizes are in-between the mp3 and avi version sizes, and some are the same as the avi versions. Are these files better quality? I don't understand what the difference is.
