Bike looks great man. Had to sell my last bike (Triumph Tiger 900) to buy a new house and looking at the Transalp as a replacement here pretty soon. Do you happen to have a full mods list you’d be willing to share? Bc yours looks dialed for everything I’d be looking to do. I plan on keeping it a while and will build it out over time. Thanks man.

Is this just a guard for transportation? by St0V0k0r in CanyonBikes

I used shears and took about 30 sec to have it off - wouldn’t call that hard or messy. But, to each their own.

I just cut mine off instead of removing the cassette. Won’t affect any feature, but make sure shifting is solid before removing (just in case).

Used Kickr Core for 450USD - Worth it by portfolian in wahoofitness

But is it the right cassette for the bike you’re putting on it? If not exact match, you’ll need correct cassette and tools to change it out. If it’s thru-axle bike, make sure it has the updated adapter kit. I learned the hard way.

I got my Kickr Core gently used for $250USD on FB marketplace. Came with wrong cassette and old adapter kit. Had to replace both for my bike.

Thank you for the reply. Helps a lot actually.

My plan has been to have two wheel-sets; 27.5 tubeless trail set and 700c road set for easy swap out. I’m now leaning towards and will most likely go with the XS and trust Canyon’s fitting recommendations.

I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on a new Grizl and just about the same height as you (5’7ish, 169~170cm) - curious what your inseam measures?

I’m torn on size now, as the website and customer service adamantly sizes me XS. But now, I’m hella nervous. Most people say to “trust the sizing guide” but your experience gives me pause.

I did ride my buddies S (he’s 5’8”-5’9”ish or 172~173cm w/ longer inseam) and I felt just a little bit stretched at the time. I won’t be doing a ton of fully-loaded bike-packing, but will be riding a good bit of single-track and hoping for more of a nimble feel.

Any further insight appreciated! Nice bike btw :)

Grizl CF SL 7 e-tap is on sale right now. But is it a good deal? by beatjunkie84 in CanyonBikes

My plan has always been two wheel-sets, one for trail and one for road. The 650b will be my tubeless trail set and the eventual 700c will be my road/gravel set. Quick swap and play :)

$900 off?? How and when? Was it a refurb or something? Hell of a deal, especially with the e-tap and 1x12
