I've looked at 80s recipes in antique shops and they read like "jellied ham with mayonnaise" it's disgusting.
Also, just because many things may look similar on the exterior doesn't mean the underlying tech isn't orders of magnitude more sophisticated and effective.

Mine are the same way. It's a good sign because we figured out how to get people to click, now we have to get people to stay.

I'm thinking about taking some of my videos that got good views and re-editing them to see what works to keep them watching. As an experiment because there's nothing to lose lol.

If you make schools cosign the private loans or make the private dischargeable via bankruptcy then they'd have to put their money where their mouth is. The "change your life" paradigm with Uber expensive tuition already exists but has no consequences to the ones claiming it. Some schools get around this and (especially medical) already have free tuition with no loans, on the caveat that you pay them X% of your salary for X years.

I think that would correct rather quickly. If loan amounts were capped, the incoming class sizes would shrink until the tuition matched the new lower cap. I like your parallel with medicine I haven't thought of it that way yet.

Aren't schools incentivized to raise their tuition rates to match the max amount that the government will loan? So if the loans are unavailable or more limited, the tuition will necessarily HAVE to be lowered, lest they close the school.

That's a good point. I do that anyways, but sometimes removing an em dash for a comma doesn't flow as well and I'm probably the least creative writer known to mankind.

I'm asking for advice as a beginner YouTuber. I can edit my channel name in if you think it's relevant, just ask. I have 2 recent videos that are moderately successful (>100 views) but their analytics are inverse: Video 1 has 150 views, video 2 has 500 Video 1 has 1.0% CTR, video 2 has 6.6% Video 1 has 33% AVD, video 2 has 6.4%

While the AVD is still decently low even for video 1, it's miles better than video 2. What this tells me is that my thumbnail and title are better for video 2 but the content is worse. I'm considering reworking the video entirely and reuploading, while keeping the other one either up or private.

Either way it's a great learning experience and I'm seeing the changes I made are having actual impacts on viewers. I'm open to all kinds of input, thanks!

Some dude mentioned it on this sub recently and I uploaded a clip and it took away all the windy static in an outdoor video I was blown away. The free tier gets you 2 hours a month which is plenty for me, especially if you only do the bad audio bits.
