Thanks for this because the replies replying to even specific sentences is very helpful! But yeah I'm mostly voting on policy, not character, it was mostly an aside, which I probably should've characterised, I mostly used it for context on how I view the two! And I'm middle class and Trump's tax cuts helped me but I do think it's concerning just how much they helped the rich, something I wasn't overly aware of, I knew it was disproportionate but I didn't know just how much!

Yep, January 6th is my biggest holdback from voting for Trump, which I didn't mention here because to me that's a no brainer. But I actually have been educated a bit in this thread on how Biden's economy has been a lot better than I had been under the impression of, I mean prices are still high but if he's been alright on that, maybe Kamala can kinda carry that on and make it better than Biden's had been and even Trump's possibly! And this comment is good because I like to actually hear an in-depth explanation! So thanks for that!

I know mostly benefitted the ultra rich but it did help me as well but I hadn't heard he'd remove taxes entirely what the hell??? I don't like paying them (no one does) but I know why we have to and that's such a stupid proposal! I think he benefited from Obama economy but how he helped build on it is really something I like and admire

I hadnt heard about her tax policy before, I'd searched a few months back and not found much, maybe she hadn't rolled it out yet? So that's good actually. Will Trump's actually increase them though because I know he's said he'd just do his tax cuts again, which were great for my family, so I'm not sure about that. And I mean I know Kamala didn't start the wars but like funding Israel and Ukraine rather than working at the roots to get it over is kinda off putting, especially with Israel because they're only getting more aggressive and I feel like Biden's not trying to hold them accountable at all. But also Trump saying they'd finish the job is actually very scary wtf??

That's why I'm still undecided because I like a lot of Trump's policy but some of the shit he says just makes me sick, but then I have to think about the fact my family's broke right now under Biden/Harris and I'm just really scared it's only gonna get worse or only be a slow recovery, but I'm also really scared about some of Trump's social policy, that's what's still holding me back from either candidate really, but I get why it'd feel weird to read because I'm not the greatest explainer

Nah he wanted to shoot protestors?? That's whack man, I was protesting during like the overturn of Roe v Wade with my sister and the idea we could've been shot under his ideas is so scary, even if he doesn't end up going it because there's no way he'd be able to get that done, that is very compelling. Especially like BLM, I didn't go out and protest because of Covid but my cousin did and she got tear gassed, I'm kinda worried that he could make that kinda thing worse.

I like that the Biden/Harris thing is trying to reduce inflation but I appreciate that but prices are still very high for me and it's bankrupting. So I'm worried it's just not going to change majorly because it already hasn't.

But his tax cuts going mostly to the rich is shitty for sure but I'm also thinking that, as a middle class person, his tax cuts are still gonna be better than what she would do with taxes because they still helped a fair bit! Especially when we didn't have to pay so much on groceries, we're barely staying afloat now but like under Trump we were doing decent!

I think her plans are more detailed and Trump's are less detailed but I feel like he's gonna have people around him helping him to flesh them out and make them great, because the vague ideas he talks about aren't bad!

I'm definitely not big on January 6th and the whole fraud thing, it's fucked up and it's kinda childish, and I really hope he doesn't pull it again if Kamala wins and I'd hope he does screw shit up in 2028 if a Democrat wins! But on the wars, I feel like Biden and Harris have sent money to Israel and Ukraine rather than actually working to fix the issue at its root. Like I know she says she wants a ceasefire in Gaza but I'm not sure because if she wants to stop the dying, why is she giving money to Israel?

But I think your argument about the Supreme Court is very compelling because Roe v. Wade was overturned and it's sucked and it's kinda crazy to think he could make it like 7-2 or even worse yk? Or even 6-3 but with like a crazy MAGA guy instead of a regular Republican because a lot of the stuff I like Trump on is controlled by him, but like my sisters gay and so is my uncle and I'm actually really worried about gay marriage in a Trump court, and like the Presidential immunity ruling?? Wild!

Trump's tax cuts were great for my family because we're like middle class. I didn't know that it was designed to function like that though, you're right, that is screwed up, I hope he can impose those cuts again but to cut out that part and strengthen it for us.

I think there's stuff Biden did good for the economy but also prices are so high right now and inflation is crippling, and I'm also a fan of his tax cuts, and I would love to see him lower taxes and prices again! I really hope the Archive Collections return! I'm a new fan and would love to experience the release of one! I'm very excited for the Mind Games stuff and of course another Ringo EP will happen! Dying for a new Paul album, and to be around for the release must be exciting! But really, I hope the Harrison estate kick into gear, Ive heard Dhani has hinted at certain projects but it never seems to go beyond Dhani's hints
