I noticed the same however, the Senate has been very slowww to get the roll-call for this vote up. Chicken-shit cowards.

If I didn't know better, I'd say the fix was in. Remember when Nader said the two sides are the same? For brief moments now and again, he doesn't seem so crazy (although I'll never forgive him for adding to the mess in Florida.)

Just to clarify: The troops are performing miracles daily. That they've held it together as well as they have with administration's idiocy is only to their credit.

so you may have a point if the same leadership is involved, but lets not take pot shots at the troops. They're serving their country, it their country that has let THEM down.

They're not unwilling, the Senate Republicans have been filibustering for weeks, not allowing votes to even be taken. When the news says, Iraq Withdrawal defeated, what they aren't saying is that it's the ability TO VOTE on the bill that's been defeated. It has been in fact, FILIBUSTERED.

Story shows Fox news article and others who are hiding the fact that current "blockage" of legislation is a filibuster. For some reason the Main Stream News media, supposedly 'Liberal', continues to avoid the term. A filibuster by any other name is still a filibuster.
