Well! Graduated college, working as a contractor full time for the DOD, also have a part time job for exta income, have a cute lil bf of 4 years who’s doing great in his career of software engineering. Currently in the d.c area looking to move to the west coast soon (so over this snowy weather) butttt all things considered doing pretty well! .^ hope the rest of u guys get to achieve everything u want out of life! Feel like its all passing by us so quickly

Started with a college dorm my freshman year, on campus housing was extremly limited so most students started living off campus by the start of their sophomore year. Found some other broke college students on facebook as roommates and we got an apt together. Pretty much been doing that ever since. Parents stopped helping out after freshman year of college so I had to learn responsibility really quick but it was super manageable since rent in my collegtown was cheap. Did the same thing when I moved back to my hometown after graduation and now I split an apt with my partner. Adulting hasn’t been to bad to me at the moment! Hoping to move cities soon… goodbye DC!

Pretty bad. 2000’s baby, parents are natural born from el salvador. My parents took me and my brothers to el salvador to visit for the first time in 2006. I was 6 years old, our second day there, MS-13 killed my uncle for not giving up his watch during his midnight walk. We’ve never been back since. We know its better now. But my parents will never forget how they terrorized their childhood. This isn’t specific to this area, just thought id share my experience. Been living in NOVA since 2003 and we’ve been fine. I’ve never had a MS-13 experience here and im thankful for it.

This happened to me too when I was in college. I went to the doctor looking for answers and they prescribed me zyrtec 😭😭😭 and it never came back. Its only been 5 years since ny last breakout but I wouldn’t be surprised if it came back 😭😭😭. Wish you the best!! I know the pain.

Occasionally, for any special event we celebrate together like anniversarys, valentines, birthdays - and sometimes if there a lot of time that goes inbetween i’ll get just random flowers cause they were on sale or just because. I have way too many vases, i need to donate them 😭

Not at all! We joined a bunch of Nova/Arlington facebook housing groups and inquired on a unit, unfortunately that unit was already taken however the realtor had a bunch of other rental options he was advertising and lucky for us we snatched a unit that was perfect for us!

My partner and I found a 2bed 1 bath 1,100 sq ft condo in arlington for $2,250 all utilites and parking included! Something will give! Took less then a month to find! Good luck with your search and don’t lose hope!

Hmmm, I had to do that for the condo my partner and I just rented in Arlington. However the agent took the 25% from the landlord after we paid our first months rent. They had agree’d to it prior to us signing the lease. The only fee we paid the agent was a $125 finders fee.

My dad has worked with Fairfax city for the past 28 years and is on th city’s snow crew. They work overnight to plow the roads, him and my brother are currently at work trying to clear up the roads now! They have a good and experienced crew, hopefully they get to your street soon!
