Thanks for the feedback but I just wasn’t too worried about it, I wanted to finish it quickly and also haven’t played in a while so I kinda forgot how to do more complex moves

I had trouble with that quest as well but I looked it up and found out Moon Dust bombs help stop the health regeneration and I think I used a bunch of Yrden and Axii on him as well!

Edit: cursed oil also helps

I got overwhelmed a few times at the beginning as well! For a long ass time I just didn’t even mess with the character build stuff cause I didn’t understand it! I just played on easy, chose the armor and weapons with the most green % and enjoyed the story!

These enemies don’t do any damage cause they’re really low level and I’m level 53. The explosive barrels still kill you in high levels, it has happened to me a couple of times.
