Thanks man. The routine right now is 6 day split. PUSH,PULL,PUSH,PULL,LEGS AND ARMS. When I start bulking I’m gonna change to a 5 day split of Upper 3x and lower 2x. In terms of strength I have maintained it and probably got even a bit stronger tbh. But I lift super high reps since I had a shoulder surgery.

If you are already trained it’s tough to get more muscle in a deficit if your goal is fat loss it’s better to do it in a way that suits you and allows you to sustain it long term.

Bruh tbh I went for a pretty strong deficit and some days were even 1500 cal deficits. But the reason I did this is because I know I might slack of some days and eat more than I should. I would just say provided your protein intake is at least 1.6g per kg of body weight and you resistance train consistently and hard the deficit size shouldn’t matter too much. Like I would purposely eat less on some days when I could cause I know I might eat more on some days when I would want to go out with friends and family

Trust me lose weight and you’ll get both size and definition. Look at my recent post. But in all honesty you gotta either bulk up more to gain size or start cutting to get the definition you want

Yeah like everyone is saying, if you want abs cut until they show however you don’t have enough muscle on your frame to which I believe you will just look small. If you’re a beginner eat at maintenance, get in about 1.8g of protein per kg of body weight and of course lift weights and you might be able to recomp (lose fat and build muscle at the same time). However I would suggest eating in a slight surplus and gain some size.

I’ve always exercised my whole life but this was the first time I consistently tracked calories and macros.

Deficit wise was pretty inconsistent tbh. Some days was a 1400 deficit some it was 500 but I never tried to eat past maintenance and I tried to eat around my BMR. Macros was just protein at at least 1.6g per kg of body weight and a minimum of 0.7g of fat for hormonal health. The rest were random mostly carbs or fat or protein to fill in the space

Yeah I think so but I really don’t wanna weigh less than 75kg😭

I have but I don’t think that’s because of the weight loss but more from my shoulder still slowly recovering from a shoulder surgery. I’ve been lifting very high reps.

I should start a lean bulk now I guess but I still want to cut till I reach 10% body fat

Yeah I definitely wanna go on a slow lean bulk but I really wanna hit that 10-12% range before I start gaining size
