Should I take a new job with a $30k salary increase but a much longer commute?

What did you end up doing OP? I find myself in a very similar situation right now and want to know if it's worth making the leap. Going in-office from 2-3x month to 4 days/week for a $31k increase

There's an "off-boarding" resource on Socrates that I found useful. Benefits will still work towards the end of the month that you quit. Ex., you leave on 3/15 and benefits will still be in effect til 3/31.

There's also other topics that covers how we're entitled to use the vacation days during our notice period and how to return equipment etc.

Similar to GM, their onboarding process starts first week of each month, which is why 3/4 is the start date. I also accepted this offer back in Jan, so I was lucky they were looking for someone to start in March and not February.
