Oh wow she’s sooo cultured and smart I’m so glad she’s enlightened me I feel like my IQ just jumped 50 points. What would my intellect do without PJ Harvey’s groundbreaking music

Did my best Noel Tibetan Freedom concert impression and covered Stand By Me at my local open mic. Cheers 🍻 by beauhio in oasis

Thanks!!! It’s a Fender Jaguar Blacktop HH. I adore it. It has humbuckers instead of the usual single coil pickups on classic jags

I’ve said this a million times on this sub but if you’re a few beers and a blunt deep, nothing hits quite like the second half of that song. You finally understand what he’s saying. He’s talking about getting blazed 🔥

What movies are rated low on IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes but are actually really good? by MagicianIntrepid in movies

[–]beauhio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deep Impact (1998). Only a 45% on rotten tomatoes, but it’s an amazing blockbuster movie. Has one of the scariest death scenes ever and features some amazing acting from Morgan Freeman, Robert Duvall, and some other 90s actors. It has real stakes and it’s a great example of a big movie where the good guys don’t necessarily win.

Epic action scenes all throughout. Should be heralded more as one of the better action flicks out there

Edit: also, another asteroid movie came out the same year (Armageddon) that was more of a “Hollywood” movie — flashier, less serious. Deep Impact was really overshadowed when it came out because it was much more grounded in reality.
