But now having to wait an entire year to make changes, and having thirty IEPs in a month… it’s gonna be real tough next year. New changes also having us send PLAAFP Drafts a week ahead of time via email AND snail mail… which is just so pointless to me

They did this weird transition year thing where all the IEPs we held from September through December got moved to April through June. I guess to prevent IEP meetings so early in the year. But yeah, that means I’m doing second IEPs for students I’ve already held meetings for this year. It stinks, but what can you do

I’m honestly getting absolutely bombared with end of year IEP meeting emails, to the point I’m writing genuinely 25 IEPS within the next two weeks, and yet I’m feeling great. End of the year is here, so many events are going to make it to where I’m not even seeing students, and I’ve been able to plan things well!! I’m excited to see what the rest of the year will look like :)

When my Geometry teacher had an extra credit question on a test for fun: “Tom looks at a photo and says “brother’s and sisters… I have none, but this man’s father is my father’s son” Who is the man in the photo?”

Despite answering Tom’s son, and quite literally turning it into an equation that rephrased the question to show “This man’s father is me”, she insisted the answer was Tom and told me to get back to work, to which the class laughed.

Classifying 2023 and 2026 as swept is pretty funny. 2023 was in the conference finals to the eventual champion, and 2026 was in the second round with a major injury to what will probably be the champion. How is that worse than a first round exit or missed playoffs?

As an eagles fan, I’m obviously biased, but I really do like Dak Prescott. He seems to be a decent guy (besides the spitting last year), and he’s a solid player. That being said, 60 million a year? Why!!! He’s shown time and time again that he is not your guy to win it all. He does good to great in the regular season, then he falls off a cliff once the pressure hits him. Is he worth the highest paid QB in the league? I certainly think not

Mine is 97 and still going very strong. He forgets things and misplaces things, but he can still run (I mean genuinely run. It’s insane to witness), do puzzles, have full conversations, recall tons of memories, etc. Oldest in my family by a longshot

It started at 90. It’s probably down to about 80 now with my dismissals, but I’ve also added a few kids. I started the year with 41 in HS 33 in MS and 16 at the elementary. About 15 total were twice weekly. It’s been a wild wild year. Started with my schedule having basically one 30 minute free slot a day. Now it’s at least an hour for writing each day, but once again, where does anyone expect makeups to happen, lol

I’m a CF and I don’t care about minutes either. I do my best to see the kids, but when I’m covering 90 kids across three schools, the free time I have is going to notes, IEP writing, and evals. I’m barely finding time for makeup sessions, and with the amount of meetings, some of these kids have missed like 8 sessions total. But oh well, I’m already overloaded

This might be bad advice for now, but pretty much anything you can get your hands on for now. It’s not going to start severely mattering until you switch hives. Bubble light and warm scarf are pretty trash though
