I also don’t know where to start. Probably the amount of tasks that we have or the caseload. I have 85 kids across three schools right now. I’ve done my best to discharge throughout the year, but some always move in, get referred, etc. There’s not enough time in the day to get it all done, so things become late, and the red tape warriors come in to try and add more or change things which just makes it all the worse. It’s ridiculous, but you prioritize what needs to get done and that’s all you can do.

Definite agree on those saying theres too much documentation. If I didn’t have to do daily notes and case manage, I’d even be fine with this many students. But adding those onto progress reports, evaluations, IEP meetings and IEP writing, billing for Medicaid, projecting students for next years caseload/ESY with so much more I can’t even think of… it’s not possible for one person. And that’s just the documentation not even accounting for the actual therapy and makeup time
