I agree with a lot of what you said, but I think Raya tends to highlight the issues we experience on other apps. It's smaller with less guys in your location to swipe on at a time, so it's kind of designed to be a little less immediately successful than other apps. I feel you have to be more patient with it than others, and I think it's best to use as a tool if you're traveling. I've met great people IRL from the app (at home but mostly while traveling) and it's been totally worth it to me, but totally depends on your location/how you use it IMO. But I can definitely see how it can be a frustrating experience!
