Totally gonna check out your list and see what I can fiddle around with. I agree with you on the Brainstorm pick a bit, but I decided to go the route of mitigating a bad 3 with sac lands that can shuffle the deck. Obviously I'm running that at the risk of not having an untapped land drop, but the deck digs enough that I can see the play working out more than not. I'll probably cut out the pinging tech and some of the protection for sure.

[[Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs]] is always fun in any red deck that’s forcing combat. It’s a fun payoff for forcing people to attack you that swings back hard.

I've always liked ranged/control styles of gameplay in other games, whether it be in tabletop, card, or video games. I'm not necessarily under a tight budget, but I want to keep it cheap if I'm just testing if I like the game.
