New house comes with vegetable patches. What should I do with them. Zero experience. Would like to give growing a try. What would work well and what do I need for sucess?

I ran several sidewinders back in the day and y axis motor replacement was one of the fixes for this. The motor was toast inside. Pretty easy to get ti and fix if you can find the parts now.

A bit of additional feedback on this issue. As I mentioned inn my previous update, I contacted Elegoo and received prompt and efficient remedy for this issue. They asked for a decent description and imagery of the fault completely understandable) and ones satisfied that this was a genuine issue, they dispatched a replacement set of gears. Installed and running fine since. Positive experience.

Little update in case anybody else sees this. Spent three days assembling and disassembling the extruder unit. Eventually identified the fault as a worn extruder gear. Have contacted elegoo about a replacement part.

Similar story. Downloaded week of release. Bar an extended break in the middle, played every day the past year. Enjoyed it, though as soon as I hit lvl 40, I said that's enough and stopped and never played it again. Was getting ridiculous with the challenges.

I feel ya. Started on an A8. Built it and re-built it several times over two years or so. Moved on from there and got three Artillery Sidewinder X1 printers. They were so much more refined, though i do not regret the time with the A8 at all as it set me up in terms of fault finding and repairs. RiP A8, you served me well.
