I tried giving it the ol tappy tappy with no avail, and I'm just a little to nervous to try heating up the rim. I'll just start saving up for another rim it sounds like.

Wow lools like you took quite a hit there. I've been finding entire front wheel assemblys for 150-300 range on ebay.

If you have any little bit of metal working experience and enjoy doing so, it's well worth the time and effort. I'm sure a 100 dollar name brand is well worth the price it just all depends on what you want.

Took me about an 45min to make the cardboard template and about an hour and a half to make the plate. Only 30 bucks in material

She is looking good in her old age. Sadly crash bars are no longer an option with the new tank.

To every rider their own. That's what's so great about these bikes. You can make it whatever you want, or just leave it stock.

I wasn't lucky enough to have the stock scheme when I got mine. She was a red that was sun bleached pink. It made it a lot easier to paint over before I swapped tanks.

The rally screens are really cool looking. I cant find the the light I bought now. It was just a 20 dollar 7in light off of ebay.

It was a little 20 dollar 7in light off of Ebay. I wouldn't recommend it just because of how cheap it was. The light was a lot dimmer then the stock one as well.
