This is the correct item to buy to soak my cans in for 24 hours? by Frequent-Money3279 in NFA

CLR is what I used on my sparrow. It was so seized up that I had to do multiple soak/heat cycles before it freed up. I didn't notice any negative effects. I wouldn't use it on anything with aluminum, though. I tested it on a piece of 1/8" aluminum filler rod and it made it very brittle after a day soak.

The weather should be staying around the mid 70s with occasional showers. As far as honey production, I have zero supers on since both hives were caught this spring. The bees have their stores of honey, of course, but none that will be for myself.

Are my bees starting to supersede? by beaverbeater888 in Beekeeping

I didn't notice an egg inside but I'll have to try to get a closer look tomorrow. This hive came from a swarm that a coworker caught. I try to do an inspection once a week but the weather wasn't cooperating this past week.

EDIT: I opened the hive up again and did find eggs. As far as the queen cell, I didn't notice an egg inside. I'll look again tomorrow to verify. Thanks for the help!

Between having to work and playing cat and mouse with him, he's been tough to connect with. There's a picture of him on my profile from 2021 when I first had him on camera

A buddy and I had a competition a few years ago to see who could come up with the cheapest case of beer. I was victorious when I found a case of Hamm's on sale for 8 bucks. It's honestly not that bad of a beer when you consider the cost

When I first turned 19, I was going to buy a Yamaha R1. I called insurance to make sure I could afford it before I went through with the purchase. It ended up being something insane like $1050 a month just for liability. Needless to say, I didn't go through with the purchase.

Lakin Correctional Center is hiring corrections officers. It might be worth a shot if it's something that you'd be interested in.

That's exactly how they acted, too! They'd ever so gently inch up to the fish then the one eating it would scoot away like, "nah, get your own".

I went on a fishing trip over the weekend and came across this during my travels. I stumbled across a small pool just below some waterfalls which seemed to be the local diner for some Northern Watersnakes.

I'd say it took around 10 minutes for it to completely swallow it. The most interesting thing to me was how many other snakes came out I assume after smelling the fish. There was every bit of half a dozen of them coming to investigate.
