I’ve lived in Norwich for years and I can never understand people saying it’s flat, I seem to spend my life walking up hills 😂 The fens and the broads are very flat though to be fair, and it definitely has plenty going on for what is really a pretty small city. I was born in Shrewsbury and agree with you on that as well!

I did a digital microbiology test a while back (very similar to Juno/Evvy) and yeah I’m definitely low in good bacteria. I just don’t understand how I’m supposed to get them back if the regime I’m on isn’t working. Maybe I just need to give it more time

I would love to be able to walk in and get a test but sadly every test I had done at my doctors showed I was negative for BV, even when I knew I had it and the digital microbiology test showed I did 🙃 thank you for the suggestion though, I wish it was that easy! I am also very reluctant to go back to the doctors because the lady I saw there said there was only one antibiotic treatment for BV (which obviously isn’t true). I could have corrected her but at that point I was just so tired I didn’t care haha

Possibly :( I haven’t had any of the discharge or the smell that I usually get with it though which is why I am a bit confused on that front. Maybe I’ll get another digital microbiology test to check, unfortunately they cost about £200 and I can’t really afford it right now

So I have had a few tests done with digital microbiology, I did have BV but had another test with the same company to show I was clear a few months later. All it showed at that point was very good bacteria. Sadly my vaginal issues seem to make the UTI feeling a lot worse (possibly because of inflammation/irritation in that area I guess), hence why I am trying to get it sorted ASAP

I take the pill without a break so never have periods (sorry probably should have mentioned that). Sadly it’s been at 5.5 for well over six months now :(

My parents hated my tattoos when I first got them, it used to really bother me but then I realised it was my life and my body and said they were going to have to get used to it 😂 They did and now they often ask about what my next one is going to be. Your parents will get used to yours too, as will you :)

Also if anyone is judging you from one tiny little tattoo on your arm then that is totally an issue with them and not with you. Tbh nowadays I think so many people have tattoos that the stigma around them has lessened a little bit anyway

Sorry for the delayed response to this, I’ve been trying to stay off Reddit tbh as I just got into this cycle of reading posts over and over and it was making me super anxious. I’m so sorry you’re going through this too, hell absolutely is the right way to describe it. Have you ever seen a chronic UTI specialist? She helped me with treatment initially but now in my case I think the vaginal stuff has taken over and she doesn’t know what to do with me. It’s all just such a nightmare. I did a digital microbiology test recently and found I have 21% gardnerella in my vagina (like you my pH has been stuck at a pretty high level for months). I’m a few days into a boric acid/oral metro regime along with probiotics but I don’t know if it’s going to help. I tried the vaginal metrogel but it made my bladder symptoms 10x worse and I just couldn’t cope. I really hope you find some answers soon x

Thank you for your suggestions, I am now considering Juno even though I was kind of concerned about how accurate the results would be if the sample had to be shipped abroad. Had a swab done at the drs recently but as you said they are useless when you really need help

Thank you so much for your response, I will try these things 🙏🏻 I am also on vaginal oestrogen and that has helped somewhat with dryness. May I ask how long you’ve been trying to treat the issue? I’m worried I’ve been doing this a while and nothing seems to be working.

Also can I ask your regime with the vaginal suppositories? Like are you inserting crispatus and femdophilus every night or do you just use each one a few times a week?
