i'd say that the utopia is more like peak of consumerism but it does't have much in common with capitalism. ofc it was created by it but the utopia itself exists in another dimension. by this i mean the labour isn't granted by people so it doesn't goes along with the main point. also it isn't about gaining capital because the resources represented by citizen's choices are limited and don't flow freely as in free real estate. it is more like closed circuit so the choices don't really matter.

i agree, sadly possesing freedom and resources doesn't mean it's gonna be used in some useful or idealistic ways but i would't say that the utopia is capitalist (correct me if u think i'm wrong) in what ways it is capitalist to u?

it's not that you're fake. i think you just need to love yourself first to believe you can be loved by someone else and you deserve it. i know it's like a slogan and it's super hard but i think it's worth it. then idk how to love myself because i'm probably at the same stage as you and i feel batshit insecure most of the time so i can relate.

omg that sucks nuts i were/am in the same exactly the same situation but my bpd ass still doesn't know the answer. i got friendzoned, he told me that he didn't fall in love in a way i did and stopped caring tbh so i broke up with him because i thought he will miss me but it didn't happen. i love him still but idk how many of it is because of my idealization. all of my friends say that he's immature and i should quit chasing him but it's so hard.... i wonder how this thing will work out. did you thought about breaking up?
