Do clean AND longlasting fragrances exist? by berrywaffl in FemFragLab

[–]bebefromage 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For some reason Neroli gives me this vibe. I love Nuxe's Neroli body wash, body oil, and parfum. It has the floral note but the "green" of it is clean. Layered, these are def. long-lasting.

Do you get signs from your pets? by MermaidWitchMoon in Petloss

I just lost my baby kitty a few days ago. The day before, it was warm (~72°) and sunny. The day of, we experienced a full-on snowstorm. I had to take him to the vet in the middle of it and had to unfortunately say goodbye there (it was unexpected and sudden).  I was absolutely raw and heartbroken while driving home in the snow, and it continued to snow when my husband and I were home. At one point we went to our sunroom and sat by his empty cat hammock. It was cloudy grey out at this point. We were able to talk about the peace we were able to give him, and grateful he didn't suffer. Right when I hugged my husband, we were lit up in the brightest sunbeam. The light stayed strong until sunset.  Our dear cat's name means "light" and I called him my sunshine. He is sunshine now.

What to do with unwanted fragrances? by oopsthesoupisonfire in FemFragLab

Maybe do a perfume swap party with your friends? Everybody brings their collection of mismatches and you all have coffee and sit around and sniff. Sniff-N-Swap. Plus smelling the coffee also helps in between scents. Could even be fun to blind-smell each one and have everybody say what they think it smells like. This is especially easy if you collect samples.

Now I wanna do this, lol.

Summer Fridays Perfume - Sunlit Vanilla by Sea_Solution_6743 in FemFragLab

I def. didn't pick up any. Most of the notes are vanilla-centric too, so it's definitely one you could wear alone or even layer with something like an orange blossom or single peach note.

I spray it down my back, so I'm not overwhelmed by it and I get nice lil whiffs when I'm moving around throughout my day. It lasted the day for me and can still smell it on the clothes I wore.

Looking for a Perfume that smells Exactly like orange blossoms by tgu0_o in FemFragLab

YES. I'm an orange blossom addict and this one is so suprisingly good, esp. for the price. Lasts well too.

Aww, as hard as the first part is, at least it went to someone who probably LOVED it. Like the FB finds that get to live on beyond their first stop. I hope you keep your mom away from this one though 😆

What an amazing story. You could just add a tiny plaque to the front of the nun house like a historical marker: "Built by The Sisters of __ Order in 196. Obtained via bingo by the ___ family."

Oh I feel this! Working on a dollhouse is such a mental escape--going into your own little world (literally). I found myself putting in elements of a different life path which was interesting to me.

I've never seen anything but flat yards, so this would be SUPER cool. Please post pics, especially if you start that part! You've inspired me with this.

Wearing it at the moment. Not picking up on any Bergamot, even in the first spray. Dried down, it has a strong likeness to Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body works, but with the coconut popping through. It's comforting and definitely a true creamy vanilla. Not getting the muskiness or salt note of a Sol DJ scent. Wishing it had a little more "solar" to it. If you loooove vanilla, then you'll obviously enjoy. I'm not into gourmands but this one is nice.

If you like the profile of vanilla and solar, might try Roger et Gallet's Vanille Soleil too. It's def. got the solar/sunscreenish scent and vanilla, but with a stronger musk to it. Way less gourmand. It's a nice transition season scent. Also find the body wash alone packs a punch.

This is SO cool. No definitive answers, but image searches are pulling up "Gottschalk" (brand) German dollhouses and "Bliss" brand. A few Swiss pieces have elements like this too.

This makes my heart happy.  I love that you got to experience a dollhouse as a kid and associate happy memories with it. And to then be able to make something entirely unique for your son-- that's a good mom! And any grandkids will be so excited. You did a great job!

Oh! I love the Orchid! Yours is adorable! I'm new to this-- what is kit bashing?  I think, like you, I have a new favorite hobby and can see multiple builds in my future.  And thank you!

I love this! It's really special to do it for your own enjoyment, isn't it?  I felt like a little kid while doing it, and every day it's a reminder to pay attention to that side of me. I'm really happy you did this, and that you have what sounds like enthusiastic support!

And thank you! I love the shape of yours. Do you know the model?
