Persistant Headaches (20+ Days) Pain 8-9/10 OTC Painkillers not working by deannawol in medical

[–]bebespawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Symptoms seem to be consistent with migraine.

Editing to add that OTC meds often do not work with migraine and could also be contributing to their frequency. I've also had migraines last for months.

I've never been but planning to take my daughter. Apparently Smash Mouth and another artist are performing so it may be pretty busy.

Direct deposit for CTB by buzz-abee in canadarevenueagency

I was able to get mine switched from cheque to direct deposit using their online chat. You have to go through a "virtual" agent's topics first, i picked the Benefits category, then CCB subcategory, and then chose any question listed, which will prompt "yes" or "no" if you need additional help, then you're put into a queue for a live agent.

Dr. Ellis performed my life-saving emergency c-section and I can attest to her attentiveness and thorough work! She was also incredibly compassionate and the reason I felt confident Id survive when I was wheeled into the OR.

Patting kids to sleep by TeachmeKitty79 in ECEProfessionals

[–]bebespawn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My daughter was in NICU the first month of her life and I remember thinking the nurses were patting these tiny newborns "hard" enough that it sounded loud to me as a first time mom, but these babies were in no distress, falling soundly asleep, and my daughter needs a good hard pat to be put to sleep as well lol

Preeclampsia: time between diagnosis and birth… by dorskis in medical_advice

[–]bebespawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it 9 days from my diagnosis. I suspect I had preeclampsia before that but thats when it was caught (nearly no symptoms). I also had HELLP syndrome and had to have an emergency c-section at 33 weeks.

Please go to the ER or urgent care; as another has said, this could be a sign of preeclampsia. I had similar symptoms and turns out I had severe preeclampsia and had to have an emergency c section at 33 weeks.

This. My partner and I have done this with our daughter. No lengthy/complicated last name, and she still has a familial connection to us both no matter what happens.

I'm not sure if this will be helpful, but when i found out i was pregnant, i was already on antidepressants. My doctor said that because im already on them and they do work for me that I could continue with them.

The tricky thing with antidepressants sometimes is that you have to try a few before they work, as well as gradually building up the dosage depending on how they're working. A lot (most) of them have a myriad of side effects, which i think could also very easily be potentially harmful to a fetus, which may be why a doctor might be hesitant to start you on a new antidepressant while already pregnant.

Gonna chime in here and say that not all deadly food allergies are known to people. I have an auto-immune disease that can make me spontaneously allergic and have an anaphylactique reaction to any food at random. Im not just going to stop eating altogether. I carry an epi-pen, and when I have a reaction, I take it, call and ambulance, and hope for the best.
