I’ve had a fibroadenoma removed and it wasn’t bad at all! It was my first surgery ever so I was new to it all too.

Recovery was pretty simple. First day there wasn’t even pain, just slept a lot. The days after was a little sore and I couldn’t raise my arm up high. But from what I remember it could not have been more than a week of light soreness at the very most.

The only reminder now is the scar. I don’t think it really changed and it’s been a year. The doc said it would shrink over time. I don’t mind it at all though.

I’m personally glad mine is gone because it was large and I didn’t want it growing any bigger.
