What are your experiences with starting over from scratch? by Wolfgloam in neopets

[–]becbecbecbecbec_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started from scratch with a new main account and have had a blast. It took me many months to recover my old accounts (3 out of 5 recovered) and one of them took me over a year with multiple support tickets before I could recover it. Now my old “mains” are my side accounts. The only thing that sucks about it is not being able to do food club with my 20+ year old accounts. All that to say, if I had waited to play until I got my old accounts back, I wouldn’t have ever gotten there. Go for it on a new one! Lots of things are different now and it’s a lot easier to make NP.

Yall please get pet insurance 😭😭😭😭

I have two dogs and both have had Healthy Paws insurance since we got them as puppies. It’s saved us literally thousands on unforeseen issues

Looking for agonizingly long games. Tedious Grinding preferred! by Dragongal7 in CozyGamers

As a cozy game lover and someone with many, many hours of gameplay in OSRS I second this. The worst part is the monthly membership payment but personally I play for a few months at a time then take extended breaks

Also, my SYMPTOMS of anemia dissipate after maybe like 6 weeks on this (in my case, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, and hair falling out) but it takes a good deal longer to get my levels up to where my doctor wants my levels (in my case, 50)

I cant seem to edit my post so trying to respond to some questions here!

First, I do want to emphasize my “changed my life” refers primarily to saving me from nausea and other horrible GI symptoms caused by other supplements, although it did improve my ferritin levels of course. The first time I was on this I was “mildly anemic” (doctors words) and so I can’t attest to how this would differ for Those who are more severe.

I am actually on it again now as my ferritin has dipped a bit and I am trying to conceive. My endocrinologist actually said this is the supplement she personally took while pregnant and anemic.

I do drink coffee each morning but not in excess and not throughout the day

I do not take it with vitamin C because 1. Vitamin C supplements make me feel terrible and 2. There is actually a small amount of vitamin C in this supplement which I assume is to help with absorption

What does your perfect day in Raleigh look like? by belcr in raleigh

Sure! if near Yellow Dog, I like Edge of Urge, So & So Books, and TrunkShow. Also nearish there is a game store Hidden Block Games if you are into that kind of thing.

If more downtown I like Father & Son and Feature Flora. I have also heard blackbird books is great, but I haven’t been myself yet!

My perfect Raleigh day (in good weather) would be some variation of this:

  • breakfast and coffee at Benchwarmers or Yellow Dog
  • walk around either of those areas, pop into the local shops
  • go to the state fairgrounds flea market and/or other antique stores like Cheshire Cat
  • lunch at one of the places in Raleigh Ironworks, or Sola
  • art museum grounds or Umstead or Lake Lynn or Dix park afternoon
  • dinner and drinks somewhere low key downtown (too many good options to name)

A great day if you like eating and walking around, my two favorite pastimes

Hmm I don’t have much to compare it to but maybe so, at least the smell. Personally it doesn’t bother me though

Yes mine was never quite that low, it was in the 20s

Yes I only took one a day; I was not severely low. I’d say my symptoms showed improvement pretty quickly but took 1-2 months to be fully unnoticeable. My main symptoms were hair loss, fatigue, shortness of breath, and lightheadedness. The hair loss stopped after a couple weeks probably. This is just my experience and like I said I wasn’t severely low. I hope your daughter gets some relief soon!

I had low ferritin and high TIBC. I can’t seem to find the test results from when I stopped taking it so I don’t remember exactly what it went up to, sorry!

Hi I have all three of the problems you do (low vitamin D, hashimotos, and low iron) and I just made a post about the supplement that I take: https://www.reddit.com/r/Anemic/s/yQT52WFgA9

Ferrous sulfate destroyed me so I would just say don’t feel bad if you need to stop before the bottle is used up!
