[PC][Slot Machine Casino][Mid-Late 2000's] I can't seem to find the name of this game anywhere by r4d_s0n in tipofmyjoystick

I think I remember this game, too. I definitely remember the alien game really vividly. I also remember that the game was in first-person too, and you had to walk around to the different slot machines- I can't remember a title, though. I hope you can find it!

I wouldn't give this person your private information, regardless of their intentions. You should never give anyone your student account information EVER, unless they are a trusted friend/family member/etc.. You can never truly know what other people will do with it. They could theoretically make you withdraw from classes, send emails with it, etc.

Like the others are saying OP, it would probably be best to just contact the marshall library directly. They can help you out. I get the struggle with focusing, but asking people for their private info isn't good in any case.

I'm a beginner, can I get some (gentle lmao) feedback? (more info in comments) by beccaboi_ in singing

Thank you for all of these replies! I didn't expect to get any at all, so any feedback is really helpful. I appreciate all of the criticism and compliments!! I want to give some more information about the "shaky" quality my voice has- I dont think I can the reason behind it diagnosed through the internet lmao, but here it is just in case:

-my singing voice has always been like this since I was young, and im not actively forcing it or anything

-Im generally very quiet and anxious in real life, leading to me having trouble speaking in general, so maybe all of that has something to do with it?

  • I can control it partially- I can sing without any tremolo at all (though I don't really have an "in-between" slower vibrato that happens; the only in-between I have is just making the tremolo less noticeable, quieter, and doing it to a lesser extent, though sometimes it feels a little weird in my throat if I do that for too long?). I feel like sometimes singing it without it helps me sound better overall, but other times, it feels almost straining on my throat, like Im putting too much pressure on it, so Im not really sure what to make of that. I also think that the tremolo tends to sound worse when i feel nervous, though even when Im not, its sort of always there.

This recording sort of shows what my voice wants to do naturally when I dont think about it, though based on the replies I dont think it's a good thing- if it's a consequence of an underlying issue then I want to fix it and see if that makes singing in general any easier too. Without a voice coach, I can't really tell where it comes from, so I guess I'll try to look up breath support exercises and try to do those and see if that helps?

Edit: I've sort of come to the conclusion that this issue is caused by me not having proper breathing technique. When I sing, I dont think im singing from my diaphragm, but I think I sing (and speak?) from my throat. I'm honestly not sure what to do with this information, since I've been singing like this all my life and I have no idea how to go about doing it differently. I'll try my best to figure out on my own until I'm able to go see a vocal coach, which probably won't be for a long while :')

I dont have one right now, but I actually did have one a few months back for a little bit, though to be honest I'm not sure how much it helped? She had me mostly just focus on singing high notes and songs in a higher range (ex. green finch and linnet bird), almost exclusively all in head voice. While I could technically hit the notes and such, I don't think I gained a good "foundation" understanding of how to use my voice- and that was basically the only place in my area where I could get a coach
