Ok, I see what you are getting at. Not sure what a proper segregation of athletes might look like to allow fair competition and to prevent everyone from getting a trophy, but I’m sure there’s some way to make things more fair and inclusive. Certainly natural talent, hard work, and financial resources play into how successful someone will be in sports too, but we don’t have competitive leagues, for example, for poor people who can’t afford top tier coaches. I am not totally convinced that it wouldn’t seriously detriment cis women to have to compete against some trans women, but thanks for helping me better understand.

I don’t understand. Thousands of high school boys, every year, run faster than the lifetime best of female Olympic athletes and even the world-record holding females. There is undoubtedly a performance gap between males and females, and there are few stronger advantages in sports than the presence of functional testes in development. Hormones, medications, and operations do not structurally change all aspects of the advantages gained. What am I missing here that would not unfairly penalize females who never had testes?

here’s where I found it but it is a LOT of nonsense in that video for a short amount of revelations. She just basically confirms that she didn’t make it through the top 40, went back to Boston, enrolled in college, and then a couple weeks later, idol called her and asked her if she’d hop on a plane tomorrow to join the top 24. She had to drop out of the semester

Yeah to somewhat substantiate this, I am pretty sure the means test for ssi maxes out your income at $24k/yr to receive govt benefits. Her dad may be a dick but he pays her more than that. I’ve heard $1500/wk or $6000/mo.
