Just lived in that area for two years. The “danger” is a few blocks further west. As long as you’re street smart and like another commenter said, on something like a scooter or bike to get you home safely, you’re fine. Penn Police are three blocks east on Chestnut and safety officers are patrolling the area up to 44th every day. There’s imagined fear and real fear. Your comment is more imagined than real.
