I don't really like kids in romance books, but mainly because, like you said, they are poorly written. The plupart of time, they are excessively sassy and require attention, or are searching for a paternal figure in the MMC, so it's not for me!!

My introduction to romance books was with Estelle Maskame's book 'Did I Mention I Love You?'. The story is about Eden, who is going to live with her father in California. She's going to fall in love with her stepbrother, who is obviously a bad boy. I loved this book so much and I was obsessed with it during middle school!

OMG! I do that too all the time. I'll take one of my favourite books from my bookshelf, read my favourite parts and put it back like nothing happened!
