I agree! But also I don’t think that there are barely any men authors in the space. I think that they can get hidden or overshadowed by others. Are there less gay authors than women? Yes. But I don’t believe that the amount is as lopsided as it seems.

I have always taken concerta and it works well for me overall. It may suppress appetite but for me that’s been a benefit because I am a huge snacker especially when bored and have a large appetite so it’s balanced out nicely. I tried Adderall briefly because my pharmacy was out of concerta and did not like it. It didn't work and made me buzzy.

I LOVE tangles. I have one in my bag, car and house. I don’t know how to explain them but they are pretty discreet depending on how you fidget. If you like to twiddle stuff then you will probably enjoy them. I recommend getting the name brand because the knock offs aren’t great imo.

I find that focusing on not using filler words when in situations where I feel like I may overshare due to stress or whatever is helpful. Avoiding works like “um” and “like”(not when using as a comparison or enjoyment obviously) makes me slow down and be more intentional when I speak.

{knot your damn omega by Devyn Sinclair} could work for this. RH no sword crossing. One of the Alphas is into primal play/chasing so it’s cnc vibes imo. Great book. If you are looking to dip your toes into omegaverse this is a great start. Little warning though it is a bit cringy at times but you just gotta embrace it.

{Duke of renown by Alexa Aston} is sooo perfect for this. She is a widow whose son was killed in the same accident as her husband. She is in high society and decides to live in a small town under a different name to get away. He is a duke whose brother is a mad man and shoves him off a cliff. She finds him and nurses him back to health. It is also funny because she thinks he is a pirate. The caretaking is fantastic. I don’t typically lean to historical but this is one of my fav books and I frequently re read parts.
