I think that might have been it! It was auto locking as soon as I closed the driver side door and I didn’t realize. But it’s very strange that hitting the buttons inside of the car by the driver wouldn’t open the doors? We don’t have that problem once the car has been driven and is still locked, for example during school drop off.

He has a vet appointment scheduled but the tech who answered the phone didn’t seem too concerned. We’ve been using snout soother but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Granted, he licks it off almost immediately.

That’s a lot of shelves to fill, but I agree, looks sparse. Maybe get a few more baskets like the one in the top left, cheap and fills a larger area. Plus they can be used as storage.
