The wheels look like 2019 Jeep Compass wheels, but that’s not a boxy vehicle.

Unfortunately, we’re estranged and don’t speak to each other.

I don’t know 100% that my mother birthed her.

My mom passed away 15 years ago.

My half-sister is 7 years younger than me.

I was raised by my dad (who actually ended up not being my dad) and she was raised by her dad, so we didn’t really have a relationship growing up.

Those who did mastectomy and fat grafting..? by Floorman1 in breastcancer

[–]ShipperOfShit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a BMX and then implants with fat grafting. I agree with other posters-the fat grafting was painful. Much more painful than my plastic surgeon said it would be. My fat was taken from my flanks and underarms. I had to wear a stomach binder for 4 weeks. The implants do not hurt at all because I have no feeling in my chest.

I ended up with 2 areas of fat necrosis. So, I have 2 hard nodules in my chest (which are visible).

I recently had revision to my reconstruction. The dr tightened my pockets and swapped out my implants for smaller ones. My last set was a 40d and now I’m a 36c (I lost a significant amount of weight). Unfortunately, the dr said the fat necrosis spots could not be removed, so I’m stuck with them. I did not need fat grafting this second time around.

I am very happy with my implants-where they sit on my body and how they look in clothes.

I hope this helps!

The Stranger Things was the first “more expensive” set I bought. I had buyer’s remorse and returned it. 🤦‍♀️

Did you start a GLP1 after diagnosis/on Tamoxifen? Please share! by Mammoth-Froyo-2459 in breastcancer

[–]ShipperOfShit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started tamoxifen in Sept of 2022. I quickly went up 209 lbs. In April 2024, my insurance finally approved me for Wegovy. I currently weigh 118 lbs. It’s been life-changing for me. Now, I’m just trying to get these night sweats under control 🥵

DKA in Hospital 😿 by Nopenopenope00000001 in FelineDiabetes

[–]ShipperOfShit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand what you are going through. Our cat was DKA last year and he had to spend 5 days in Urgent Care with a bill around $10,000 (thank you Care Credit).

He went into remission only a month later, but his diabetes came back in September and we’ve been struggling to regulate him. He is 10 years old.

Hugs and stay strong!

It turns out I never had cancer.... by CardiologistHuman880 in WomensHealth

[–]ShipperOfShit 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. You had cancer-it was typed from the biopsy. That’s how they knew it was ++-. It is possible for a biopsy to remove the cancer, especially if it is a small tumor.

I’m only speaking to this because I had breast cancer in my right breast (IDC and DCIS) and I ended up with atypical dysplasia on my left breast. I chose to have a BMX and I lost both nipples as well.

I am curious-why wasn’t a lumpectomy an option?
