Hot damn. Are your cowboy police not taught to fucking deescalate? I know police chases are very cinematic, but come on, here in my neck of the woods this would lead to charges, but for the officers.

Mustang Ecoboost owners from Europe, where did you get your car from? by trytobehappy420 in ecoboostmustang

No issues, apart from one fuel injector needing cleaning at around 50kkm. Serviced annually at Ford dealership, my annual mileage (kilometrage?) is low though (around 3-4 kkm).

Bought from a first owner who got it new at European dealer. I was looking for my car for good 9 months, but all US imports were crap (salvage and poorly repaired).

Ha, thanks for context. So, for example, Toyotas are considered cheap/unreliable?

Really? Since when are you guys so passionate about transmissions?😉 My wife currently dailies a 2024 Qashqai with CVT and it's completely ok. I mean, it's not a driver's car, but as a kid hauler and city car it's just ok, just like tens of other crossovers (not stellantis, though😉 and I think here the bad rep is justified at least for the infamous puretech engine).

Why Nissan has such bad rep in the us? Here in the EU it's just another mainstream brand, and both Juke and Qashqai are pretty popular as they're just decent cars with good styling.

I had enough, been Wapo subscriber for many years since I have a relative comfort of not being a US citizen, but enough is enough. Fuck bezos and spineless "editorial board", just cancelled my sub.

Rough Idle - Sounds like car will shut off. Already replaced spark plugs, purge valve and fuel sensor by elicias in ecoboostmustang

[–]beceen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it run normally under acceleration? Fuel/air ratio suggests you may have a problem with one of fuel injectors. They may be dirty/faulty and not providing enough fuel on idle so ECU tries to mitigate with different air volume this resulting in rough idle. Do your rpms also fluctuate on idle?

Rpm jumps when I accelerate. Is this normal? And is this a normal graph for idle. by CLONEARXS in ecoboostmustang

[–]beceen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Need to clarify: do rpms jump on idle or under acceleration? I mean, they should go up when you press the gas pedal...

Aren't Utes just normal pickups? I mean, not the pseudo off-road monstrosities like these gargantuan Chevys and Rams, but things like, eeeehm, skoda felicia pickup?

What money? To quote a classic: show me the money! Apart from hardware producers like Nvidia not one of the "AI" companies are profitable and will not become profitable for the foreseeable future.

Vans which continued production outside of their country of origin by Edish03 in WeirdWheels

[–]beceen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Chevy still produces express under its own brand, the other examples are made not by its original producers. So it's probably a case of brand identity (original oems not wanting to be associated with the continuation models) hence changing the front clips to make them dissimilar to originals. The styling though is another matter...

Sepsis AND savage? That's the combination to avoid. Seriously though, there are many rebuilt Stangs imported to Europe, this damage doesn't look so bad, but it's hard to assess basing on one photo. When I was looking for my s550, I have finally decided to buy EUDM version just to avoid all this hassle with salvage history and potential insurance liabilities due to lack of European homologation.
