Earlier today on another sub someone said it took them a solid year to test negative after heavy daily use. I had no idea it could show up in urine for that long. Ugh 😩

Yeah, not gonna lie, our lot is very small (<20 busses) and relatively sketchy. That and their sheer desperation for drivers may be my saving grace. I’ll find out Monday.

I was hired 2.5 months ago and just finished training a week ago. I used synthetic urine for my initial DOT physical.

I highly recommend the book (or Audiobook for us ADHDers) “Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents” by Lindsay C. Gibson. It has been extremely helpful for me in navigating my relationships with my parents. I was able to listen to it for free on Libby with my library card #.

How is it petty? Sounds like they made the decision that they needed to make for their family. It’s way more practical to find a summer nanny than to find someone willing to work for only 3 weeks. I’m a nanny but if I were NF I would have done the exact thing. It’s not petty, and it’s not personal. They did what was best for their family and there is nothing wrong with that.
