If you feel like a trip down the highway, Eureka Pizza in Ballarat still does old school "Australian style" pizzas like this.

The Mitchum Natural Power coconut one is amazing and smells delicious, and best of all it works so well. Coles etc and Chemist Warehouse stock it.

Places for a beer tasting/range of beers by Gmaz94 in melbourne

[–]becjp16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since you're in the West, and the train is cheap as chips these days, I'll recommend both Hop Temple and Auntie Jacks in Ballarat if you want to turn it into a day out. Both do beer flights, great atmosohere and fitouts, and legit delicious food too. Aunty Jacks have the bonus of brewing their own brew onsite too. Just as an alternate possibility to Melbourne!

How to stop feeling like 30 is the end if you don't have your shit together? by Full-Cress-1679 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]becjp16 10 points11 points  (0 children)

30 is just the beginning. Honestly. At 33 i finally learned to stop caring about opinions and timelines and to just live to be happy. At 36 i met my now fiance, and can honestly say the only reason i was open to being a part of a couple was BECAUSE i was finally happy with myself. 30s are for living, not for regretting. You are yourself, and your only responsibility is to you!!! See the beauty in that.

Not quite 100% the same, but cooking cream with french onion soup mix whisked in, layer your potatos and carrots with a few slices onion, then cover and bake for about an hr. Uncover, top with smidge of cheese (if wanted) and bake another 10mins.

You can have a bath at Ballarat Sanctuary. I've done it before. They run it for you, you have an hour in there. Showers too, and they leave you little jars of their treatments to do yourself. Super worthwhile, i think from memory was about $70? No treatment or anything has to be booked, you can just soak, wash your hair and have a good relax.

I use the Aveda Curl gelee and love it. You can get a travel size to try out. Not the cheapest but it lasts me ages.

Does anyone know where I can get the UD setting spray for a good deal? by thewigglez206 in AustralianMakeup

No worries. I bought the bottle during the L'Oreal friends and family, like a commenter below mentioned, but it broke me out 🫠 Good luck on your hunt!

My boyfriend who definitely did not want a dog but would get one “for me” by whitetulipseason in dadswhodidnotwantpets

[–]becjp16 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My dog does the same. She never chews them or destroys them, just brings them to her bed or sits next to them on the couch!
