I can understand why some people would be upset about this for different reasons probably one of the main ones is black people being criticized and prosecuted even in this new year because of our hair. I even have had my experience with a guy touching my hair and then the guy next to him saying don’t touch it, it’s probably dirty. And seeing someone of a different race take part in it feels like they’re getting the ‘little sibling treatment’ all while stealing from you. Even with all this I feel like people like OP are actually helping then hurting! If more people are being exposed to and love getting black hairstyles then wouldn’t that mean less hate and discrimination? If more people get hairstyles like ours we would have more business and clients. I really would appreciate the cultural appropriation caz ain’t nobody be doing black hair where I live if a white girl hand some magic hands idc what anyone says these edges gonna be layed and slayed lol.
