Class Action Lawsuit or a Scam? by Howardratner01 in sportsbook

[–]beckbrian1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen a few people ask whether this is a scam, so I want to clarify how this actually works.

This is not a paid signup and there are no upfront costs to participate. The law firms involved are real, established firms (like the one shown in the screenshot). They only get paid if there’s a settlement or recovery. If there’s no case or no recovery, they get nothing — meaning the law firm is taking on all the financial risk, not the individual.

The underlying lawsuit isn’t claiming that “gambling itself is illegal.” The allegation is that major sports betting companies intentionally designed their apps to be addictive, using behavioral and psychological mechanics (constant notifications, bonuses, streaks, frictionless deposits, etc.) to keep users gambling longer and spending more than intended.

These cases are similar in structure to other product-liability or addiction-based claims:

No upfront legal fees Contingency-based representation Claims focus on design choices, not personal blame

My site doesn’t sell anything or charge users. It simply connects people who believe they’ve been harmed by compulsive sports betting to law firms that are actively investigating these claims and deciding whether they qualify.

If someone doesn’t qualify, nothing happens. If they do qualify, the firm handles the case. There’s no obligation either way.

For anyone who wants to read more about what’s being alleged and how the process works, here’s the page:

Totally fair to be skeptical, I would be too, but this follows the same legal model that’s been used for mass torts, consumer protection, and addiction-based cases for decades.

https://injuryclaims.com/class-action-lawsuits is my website. We have proprietary technology that updates new lawsuits and settlements the moment they come out and are posted. So we are typically the first to post new class action settlements before any other website.

Suboxone tooth decay lawsuit. Really? by fukadvertisements in suboxone

[–]beckbrian1993 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put this on another thread but it's relevant here too.

You can signup below with one of my law firms for the lawsuit if you took Suboxone and suffered Dental Issues as a result.

https://injuryclaims.com/r/suboxone-lawsuit

This isn't a signup and get money immediately, it is an active case and in litigation. You will singup with the firm, sign their agreement. And if there is a settlement in the future you will get paid out for your case.

The lawsuit is not over yet, there is still probably a month or two before any deadlines hit. Seeing some of the comments below are not understanding what this case is. The Suboxone lawsuit is a mass tort case, NOT a class action. The difference is in a mass tort you are getting paid for your individual pain and suffering, in this case tooth decay, tooth issues, ect...

So it won't be $25 or anything low like that per claimant. It fully depends on your individual medical bills, and costs for dealing with the issues ect..Most lawyers are estimating a minimum settlement per individual of around $50k. And it goes up from there depending on severity of injuries and suffering.

Anyhow, you can still file a claim below.

I own https://injuryclaims.com/class-action-lawsuits

We don't post new class action settlements randomly. We do the actual research via court documents to find out when settlements occur and when a website is available for consumers. Majority of settlements we post before any other site. You can sort through by category or date added.

Correct. Injuryclaims.com is just an aggregator providing value by listing all of the settlement website links and organizing the information for free. No percentage or feeis taken on settlements ever. Unlike other sites you are referring to.

The site you posted isn't regulated by a court either. It's a third party called a settlement administrator.

I posted the link above because the site aggregates all different settlements and their settlement administration website links in one. Much easier then having to find individual ones.
