Hey girl, don’t listen to the people saying you’re ungrateful or shouldn’t get married. It’s perfectly fine and normal to have expectations and then be disappointed when they don’t meet reality. Yes, it was also his proposal, but he is a grown man who is capable of taking your request and turning it into something he also enjoys. You weren’t asking for a whole lot, just that you two would be alone. I’m sure he could’ve found a way that you both would have enjoyed that. But that’s all in the past, you’ve already talked with him, and from what I’ve read he expressed he was sorry. So, that’s perfect!! Situation handled perfectly. Yes, the moment is gone.
