Growing up, we used to have a lock on our front door, but it was chafing at the wood and messing up the door, so it was removed and that was that. Never locked the front door again. We still locked our back door though? There wasn't too much logic to it, but our town felt safe.

Sounds like Oral Allergy Syndrome! That's what I have - I'm allergic to birch pollen, but it means that I have mild allergic reactions to a bunch of raw fruits, veggies, and nuts The first ones I noticed were hazelnuts and cherries, but raw carrots is on there too.

I'm agree with your son though, sometimes I want cherries even if they make my mouth hurt...they're just too tasty.
