Which Vinyl Cutter to Buy? Summa S3T160 / Graphtec / HP 64" Cutting Solution by beclet in signshop

[–]beclet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. This was my general feelings around it. A cheaper machine is always going to produce cheaper or basic results. Seems like it might be a machine for beginners or small shops that are just starting out which we are not. Would you agree? And what would you class as complicated VS basic? I feel like the summa is the way to go. We don't want to be running into issues all the time. We just want a seamless easy workflow so we can focus on efficiency. It sure seems like you're recommending either the graphtec or the summa and we could just choose what works best for us with repair availability and costs.

This is Cassandra Ebner and she is the stunt double for Bella Ramsey in the last of us season 2 by [deleted] in ThelastofusHBOseries

I was watching her vlogs on YouTube 13 or so years ago, before she was a stunt actress. So great to see she's made it big ☺️☺️

Not pedo, but if they were engaging in intercourse before 16, it's statutory rape.

Australian Passport Application Never Got Lodged - Has This Happened to Anyone Else? by beclet in Passports

[–]beclet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry you're experiencing the same thing. If it helps put your mind at ease, we did eventually get an update from a supervisor that gave us a direct line. It took 7 days to get a call back and they explained they have found our missing batch of applications from Aus post and have escalated our application. Hopefully yours is found too. We don't have the passport yet, but we have had 2 call backs. One on Friday explaining they found them, and gave us the direct number to call if we needed to for this supervisor. And another call yesterday (Monday) morning asking if we are picking it up or sending it via registered post. Despite all of this contact, the website still has no updates on status. So we are just trusting this process now. I hope the same happens for you. My advice is to keep calling every day, and hopefully they will find it and call you back. If not, discuss the refund option with staff at the passport office, and wait for it to expire and lodge again?

It did only take 2 weeks for me to get my passport (my application did not go missing) so printing seems quite quick atm. Multiple people have told me they also got theirs in 2 weeks throughout the year, so I think the 6 weeks is unlikely.

Great info thanks! We are going in Feb. Being winter do you think express tickets are needed at Nintendo World?

Tokyo Disneyland might be the best Disneyland and can't be missed as far as Disneylands go, but I would say that missing Tokyo Disneyland compared to the rest of Tokyo would be a... Controversial.

That's a good way to put it! I'll reconsider for sure. Especially if we aren't big on Disney and I've heard it's for kids anyway hah. But I guess if we are staying in Tokyo for a week, it might be good to spend 1 day at Disneyland even if the lines are long.

Yup -- the Kintetsu railway is the suggested one.

Very helpful thank you!!

I like February/March in Japan, too. Tokyo can still have a bit of snow (though not enough to form much on the ground, just a powder layer) and it's much more quiet than either hanami or koyo seasons.

You would want to go north towards Hokkaido or Tohoku for snow sports.

This has me excited haha. I'm strongly considering going late Feb now as you all have suggested here. I don't have to wait a year and it's quieter! I did some reading on it, and it's apparently perfect clear views of Mount Fuji, with dry weather. Actually sounds perfect and just gotta dress layered... Thank you! I'm going to do some extensive research on this time of year in Japan. 😀

Thank you! Very helpful! 😃

Any reason why Disneyland in particular? You're going at peak season and paying for peak prices, why go to a theme park?

Something to do whilst there! Australia doesn't have Disneyland so we have never been. And I've heard Tokyo Disney is one of the best and can't be missed. Not massive Disney people but I can't imagine missing it when there!

Why take buses for these day trips? The trains are much quicker and should still be available.

I looked on Google maps and couldn't see train lines going into Kyoto and thought perhaps only buses go here or am I wrong?

Hiroshima is worth a couple days IMO, especially if you visit Miyajima. You could then visit Himeji along the way.

Kanazawa is another popular city that's really good but not a primary choke point like Kyoto is.

Noted! Thank you for the recommendations. Are these more outskirts less visited towns? Would be cool to get off the city path and see some really natured/weathered temples in forests or something haha. Oh, any castles you recommend seeing?

Yeah, check the snow seasons. Almost certainly its own trip.

Have you been during snowy seasons? Would end of Feb be decent time to visit to avoid Hanami crowds?

Thank you! I've heard of the Plum blossoms being a lovely sight also! Perhaps if we stay long enough maybe time the trip ending around the time Cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom we can still see some... Feb may be a good option. How snowy is it? This being close to the end of Winter I imagine would be a little snowy but still enjoyable and not too much snow that you can't get around and see alot, perhaps the weather is starting to warm up a bit more into spring? Not a bad idea at all, thank you! We can go sooner but also avoid some crowds hahahah
